Topic:The love letter movement

Main idea 1

Topic sentence-

(1)In Taiwan, people seldom take the initiative to chat or show their care about strangers, therefore, words play an important role.

I won’t be the person I have always wanted to be. I won’t remember to call when I think I should. When I see somebody crying, I won’t be the one who approach to her immediately. I seldom passed a cry for help, though at times I shook with fear And it takes every ounce of human in me not to grab the shoulders of people I’ve never seen before and shake them good. Writing is a good way to show consideration for them. I marveled at Taylor Swift for a long time. How she so effortlessly flings the names of past flings into songs that become eternalized on the lips of teenage girls. Taylor Swift was a realization, to me, that words eternalize people. They’re constant. Theyre forever. Words are magical and powerful. They can heal one’s wound swiftly.

(2)We now live in a technology life with many different kinds of modern devices. It just takes only one second or more to contact with other people through facebook, phone and email....However, love letters by handwriting brings its own special power which no modern technology can replace.

The power of words cannot be replaced by apps, facebook or internet.I bet than any one of us receive a postcards, letters written by hand will be touched. When it’s somebody’s birthday, more and more people say happy birthday on facebook or with line instead of writing a card, which don’t showgood faith. From one’s handwriting we can see their sincerely. The words on paper will be there forever .....and remind the receivers how special we are to have a love letter. When I’m really disappointed I won’t want to share mygrief on facebook to get people’s comments or likes as an exchange but I wish to get a small piece of letter asking me what’s wrong.

Letters can also keep in touch with close friends. The feeling of discovering a card from the mailbox is more surprising than noticing a message on facebook.

A letter is the best medicine to get rid of weakness and loneliness.

A simple sentence sometimes encourage a person a lot.”We all go home alone sometimes. It won’t kill you. It won’t destroy you. It won’t pummel you the ground. You’re going home alone at some point. It’ll be the hardest thing to do when it’d be so much easier to call. Or shoot over a harmless text. Or send an email. Or show up at their door.—Hannah Brencher. She studied abroad and was separated with her mom.Her mom didn’t believe in email facebook, therefore she waited in front of the mailbox everyday. She expected her mom’s letters and carry them. During the financial tsunami, she began writing love letters intended for strangers and tucking them away in libraries and cafes across New York City, for people to randomly discover. as a way to try to fight off my own loneliness and depression. Later, people all around the world request her love letter.

Conclusion:

Receiving just a piece of letter asking me what’s wrong drive away my bad mood.Handwritting eternalize people, they are so powerful that can eals ones wound and get rid of weakness and loneliness and couldn’t be replace by any modern technology. I love the mood when I first received postcards in postcrossing from the strangers and my life is blessed. I wish I could use my blessings to be a blessing to other people, spread the love to the people around me.
